Jeff
Loughridge's career as a professional graphic designer/ illustrator
spans over thirty five years. His images speak with an authority only experience
and talent can conjure.
A
native of California and avid auto enthusiast, Jeff’s illustrations
reflect his true passion for cars and racing. Whatever he illustrates,
his images portray a deep appreciation for the refined beauty of automotive
design. This is especially conveyed in Jeff’s recent series of
microcars, tiny arcane cars from the 1950's and 60's. When
Jeff was in his late teens and early 20s, he and his friends owned
and raced many mini- and micro-cars. They were collectively, and affectionately
termed "boogerballs". The label stuck.
Inside
his home studio in Los Gatos, California, Jeff has designed and illustrated
for the sports specialty market as well as the local high tech community
for many years. It
is Jeff's combination as an experienced illustrator and a design professional
that is the catalyst for his effective visual communications style.
